Letting the Story Unfold, One Painting at a Time

Letting the Story Unfold, One Painting at a Time

Art is a series of intentional moments. Timelines exist, but they don’t lead me—the unfolding process does, one brushstroke at a time.

In my art practice, presence is everything. I’ve let go of the idea of being ‘behind’ because when I create, it’s about the flow I find in each moment. Whether it’s a commission or a personal series, timelines exist, but they take a backseat. What matters is being fully immersed in the process—present with the brush, the color, the story unfolding.

What excites me most is how one piece leads to the next. When I’m in that creative rhythm, ideas pour in, and the story evolves naturally, piece by piece. Each painting becomes a stepping stone, connecting me to the next, and it’s in that unfolding that the real magic of the series emerges.
